I heard that chef de france is a bit stuffy and not particularly a great TS meal for kids. What's your opinions?

And on the topic of chef de france, has anyone had the mac-n-cheese? Is it worth the credit (if it's THAT GOOD, then to me it's worth it) on our dining plan to get it, or should I try one of the many other very interesting entrees that they seem to have?

I don't know about the 5 year old - but we plan to take our 7 and 9 year olds on our next trip! I can say that we took our children to Paris two years ago (so I had a 5 year old then) and the French people were very kind to them (even doting on them).

I've heard that Paul Bocuse planned this menu (considered to be the premier chef in the world). The French are known for their preparation of fish so you might want to think about a fish choice.

On a side note, if you're a mac and cheese fan - TGIFriday's has a good recipe!

Le Chefs de France really isn't stuffy, and it is definitely family-friendly. I've always found it to be pretty noisy, so any happy-child squeals will probably be lost in the din.

It's the restaurant upstairs from Chefs, Bistro de Paris, that's intimate, quiet, small, and not so child-friendly. I wouldn't bring a 5-year-old there. But you'll be just fine at Chefs!

Yes, it is completely child friendly. Our now young adult children have been dining there since Epcot opened. It is not stuffy in the least.

Bon apetit!

We ate at Chefs de France with our 6 year old. We didn't find it stuffy at all. We had the best and most friendly service of our trip there. Go and enjoy!

Hi we were there in Dec. and our 5 yr. old loved it!!! She even loved the escargot:confused3 the mac and cheese was very good and the bread was great! We all shared our desserts and no left hungry we will definately take our girls again.

We were just there in March and DS8 declared Chef's to be his favorite Epcot restaurant. And he had the adult Mac and Cheese twice! (The second time we shared as there is enough to do this) I had the salmon and it was excellent. DD11 also likes Chef's.

The mac and cheese is DEFINITELY worth it!

Both my children love Chefs, and have since they were about 2-3 or so.
