I thought I knew what ADRs I wanted and now I'm torn. First off let me start by stating "I'm simple folk".....I prefer a place with decent sized portions and more basic foods so to speak over a place with delicately placed small portions. I am not very adventurous with my dining although I have gotten better in the past few years :).

We are doing a 10 day trip and are thinking about 3 ADRs and the rest we will just wing it with counter services and such. So far we have an ADR for Restaraunt Marrakesh and are planning on doing the Fantasmic! Dinner Package for Mama Melrose. I had my heart set on eating at Les Chefs de France. We were going to do a lunch and I wanted to do the Prix Fixe Menu(Onion Soup, Mac and Cheese, Creme Brulee). Now am I considering Sanaa instead, the Tandoori Chicken Sandwich has peaked my curiousity....it looks fabulous! Which should I choose?

would not choose Sanaa for anyone who like good-sized portions and simple foods. We just ate at Sanaaa for the 2nd time in February 2012 (first time we ate there was just after it opened a couple of years ago.)

The food at Sanaa is generally small portions (compared to most Disney meals) and most of it is very hot-spicy or kind of odd-spicy. I don't do "spicy" very well...the only thing on the Sanaa entrees that the waitress could recommend for me was the short ribs with rice. Everything else she said was moderately- to very-spicy. My hubby and son both enjoy spicy food, and they chose items that were mild to moderately hot-spicy and enjoyed them. But this was one place we all finished everything in our dishes, as well as desserts...and we had appetizers, too. Though we enjoyed the meal there, all 3 of us noted the smaller entree sizes.

We just ate at Les Chefs (dinner on 3/4/2012) I would recommend keeping that one...though the foods sound fancy due to the French menu, it's not really fancy food (closer to French neighborhood cafe food) It's very tasty, but not exotic/spicy. The portions were the usual Disney-size (meaning large) None of us could finish portions. We had the price-fixed 3 course dinner...fr. onion soup, beef & noodles, profiteroles...son had fr onion soup, salmon and some strawberry cream-cake confection. All were delicious.

I just did the prix fixe lunch at Les Chefs in Feb and loved it! I had the French Onion Soup (one of my favorite single dishes of the whole trip, especially with the crusty French baguette), the Croque Monsieur (toasted ham and cheese sandwich) with salad, and the Profiteroles (I just posted the pic in a best desserts thread). It was seriously a "comfort food" meal. I had never been to Les Chefs before, and I would happily go back again.
