Leota Update.....

I was hesitant about posting this, since I haven't been as active here as I was. But, I thought about when Snoopy posted a P&PD request thread for me & how much Loving Support y'all offered up & decided maybe I should let you know how things are going.

I did have some major Health problems beginning late last winter & my health was really crashing. I was losing T-Cells, weight & energy very rapidly & my viral load was skyrocketing. I was in alot of danger, as I am resistant to all the drugs that were available to treat my illness. I lost pretty much my entire immune system, so any little cold or bug was scary...... I had to wait for this one new drug to get approved & then for my number to come up to get it (very limited supply)

I did get the drug about 1.5 months ago & started that in conjunction with about 6 others.... It took a couple weeks to work thru the side effects & I had to drop one drug due to a bad reaction. But, the good news is, that after a couple weeks, my appetite began to come back & I started gaining some energy. At 4 weeks, they did some bloodwork & it shows a HUGE, Miraculous improvement in my system. Most importantly, I feel like a Human again & am able to take care of myself & my family again.

I want to Thank all of you who gave me such kind support & offered up Prayers, Pixie Dust, Good Thoughts, Healing Spirits & such - I believe I am living proof, that these things help us Heal. I can't express how much I appreciate your sending me those Good Vibes & boosting me up when I was down.

Leota, I never saw Snoopy's post, so this all news to me. I had been wondering where you were. I miss your posts about you and Max and your toga pool parties!
