Heading down to Disney soon. I currently have a Nikon D90. My lenses include a 50mm 1.8 and a 28-75 2.8 What is your go to lens for Disney? If I was to add a lens to my collection what would you suggest? Thanks :thumbsup2

I don't shoot with Nikon but "favorite" lens really comes down to favorite for the situation.

But if I were to add to your lenses specifically for a Disney trip, I'd consider 3 types:
-Ultra wide, like the Tokina 11-16. Can create some very interesting Disney perspective.
-A 30-35mm fast prime, IF you want to shoot dark rides.
-70-300 zoom, if you want to shoot the Animal Kingdom safari.

One of the two I bolded. :thumbsup2

My go to lens is a Canon 24-105 f/4. But everyone has a different style so what works for others might not be right for you. If you're looking to add a lens ask yourself where you feel like your current lenses are falling short. It should give you an idea of what would benefit you the most in your next purchase.

I shoot with a Nikon D7000 and my wife has a D7100. Between us we have a 18-200, the Tokina 11-16 and the Nikon 70-300. We use them all, next on our list of lenses is a 50 1.4 prime (My wife) and the Sigma 17-70 f/2.8-4 and a Sigma 30 f/1.4(Mine).

The Tokina 11-16 looks awesome. Is this lens more for landscape? Do people come out distorted? Does anyone have examples they could post? Thanks everyone!

Another in favor of the Tokina 11-16. Incredible lens.

I just got mine at Christmas so I haven't gotten to test it out in the park. As far as distortion goes there is a very slight amount of distortion on my D90. It's significantly less than other ultra wides. The lens preset in Lightroom takes care of the barrel distortion perfectly.
