Lens Advice.

Last month I recieved a Canon Powershot G9 as a birthday present, which btw I love. I know you can put lenses on this camera but I am not sure which one would be best for me. I really like taking close-up shots, so Im looking for something that would make my pictures come out even better.

The lens adapters for that type of camera will not likely make your shots come out any better. They will more often make it even harder to get a good shot. I imagine that they would also affect the close focus point and make macro shots more difficult. You should search for reviews of the particular ones you are considering on the G9 specifically. The results on different cameras might not be the same. If possible, you should try them out on your camera to see how it works before buying.

You might also consider a set of close-up filters for getting more of a macro effect.
