Length of Dinner meal....

How long does it take 9 people to eat dinner at the California Grill? We currently have a dinner reservation for 7:30 p.m. Wishes is scheduled for 9 p.m. this same evening. Will we be finishing up just as the fireworks start? We are on the DDP, so there is lots of food to eat, including dessert.

I'm gonna guess around an hour and a half. You will be able to see the fireworks and hear the music that goes with it from that restaurant. We're doing the same thing in November. Can't wait.

We were a party of seven and both times we had dinner at the CG it was over 2 hours. I know the waiter could tell that we were not in a hurry though so that may have had something to do with the time.

I agree with Nancy. We were 2A/1C and it took us over two hours to eat. The service was great, but the nature of the meal is that you will not want to rush it. Our server did not rush us at all.

And...if you do finish early, you can always watch Wishes from the observation deck.

I would plan on at least 2 hours. You may or may not be seated on time, plus it is such a great meal. If you do not have a window seat, no worries, you can head out on the observation deck, enjoy Wishes, then come back for dessert!
