Length of contract question

I just attended the DVC informational presentation at WDW. During our meeting with the CM, he mentioned (briefly) that if we were to buy into one of the original DVCs, the length of our contract would be shorter than the 50 years if we bought at BLT. Is there a chart anywhere which explains the length of contract at each of the DVCs? He also mentioned a contract extention at OKW (I think). Just hoping someone can explain how this works. Thanks and sorry if this has been asked before - search didn't give me much.

All of the "original" DVC resorts expire on January 31, 2042. This includes OKW, VB, HH, BWV, VWL and BCV. Some OKW owners chose to accept the offer by DVC to extend their contracts until 1/31/2057 - and many did not.

SSR expires 1/31/2054, AKV expires 1/31/2057, BLT and VGC expire on 1/31/2060 and ARS (Aulani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina - which has not yet opened) will likely expire on 1/31/2062, although the expiration date has NOT yet been announced (so that is speculation on my part). Is is tentatively set to open in 2011.

As of this time only early buyers at OKW, SSR, AKV (Jambo owners), BLT and VGC will have the benefit of a full 50 years of ownership. All of the other original resorts (VB-1995, HH-1996, BWV-1996, VWL-2000 and BCV-2002) opened within the 50 year mark and yet still expire 1/31/2042.

DVC has made no announcement regarding offering contract extensions at any resort except OKW.

just FYI: the cost to extend OKW was $25 per pt...and during some periods it was reduced to $15 per pt.
