I was just telling Pink and thought I should share...

As evil as this quest was, with the lag and queues, and insanity that would have required us to put life on complete hold for three days straight (and many did, to complete and then help others -- kudos to you)...

I am so grateful for discovering again how wonderful the DIS VMKers are. This is such a special community. To the people who worked so hard and gave up so much time on my behalf, I want to extend the biggest heartfelt

THANK YOU

and that doesn't come close to expressing how much your encouragement and help meant to me.

Three games of mansion with 90+ ghosts and no advancing finally did me in. If only I'd had those extra 10 hours VMK seemed to promise until last night's announcement...

At least I discovered what amazing people I have as friends.

(To VMK, shame on you for so many things. But that's another thread.)

My sentiments exactly. Although I'm bitter about it I don't want that to overshadow the wonderful help I received as well.

Llama, I was in the mansion lobby the same time you were with Pink trying to get those ghosts as well so I know exactly how you feel.

Did you ever figure out why you didn't advance even with 90 ghosts?

I guess it was too many "turn back other team from ghost" counted. And we weren't doing that on purpose, just in the midst of cleaning ghosts, I'd change back my helpers. I hit 96 on the first game and was just sure that would do it, but no luck.
