DS4 also loves legos and since he was 2, yes 2, has refused the duplo and only played with the regular! Anyways, we often do the keychains and my DH cuts the top part off, or half the time the little ring is pretty easy to open up, just leaving a bit on the head.

Legos are so expensive but so worth it, mine will play with them for hours and hours! I just put the christmas train back up under tree a few minutes ago!
