Legoland @ Spring Break

We're thinking of going down 3/29-4/2 for Legoland. I know WDW is swamped, but what about Legoland? Anyone been during spring break in the past?

Also, anyone stayed at the Legoland Hotel?

I've not been there on spring break, but we did go last year on Fourth of July. I was prepared for epic lines and one big mass of sweaty people all day. I was really surprised that crowds were much lighter than expected. I think our longest line all day was 30 minutes. The only time the crowds really got thick was after dinner when locals started coming in for the fireworks. We talk a lot about how we had to break our Disney habit of camping out for everything an hour in advance. Even on Fourth of July, there were like five kids in line to meet Emmet, and there were still seats for fireworks minutes before the show.

We went for spring break but it was about 3 years ago, but we also went there on a holiday last year. It can be crowded but lines are usually no longer than 30 minutes at the most. I would definitely recommend it, even during spring break. It's really fun!

Edited to add that we stayed at the Holiday Inn in Winter Haven and it's a great hotel, budget friendly, clean and very close to restaurants.
