We are travelling to So Cal this summer. Staying in Anaheim for 8 days. We will be doing DL/DCA for 5 day, 1 beach day, and 1 day to tour LA/Hollywood. We have one more day open and can't decide what to do. It will be me, DH, DS14, DD13, and DS2. So, big age difference with the kiddos!
Any tips on what would be best for our family? I'm thinking Knotts Soak City or Legoland. Will my older kids be too big for Legoland? Any other suggestions? We are up for renting a car for the day or using a tour company.
TIA

I haven't been to Knott's Soak City, but would advise against Legoland, given your kids' ages. The youngest will likely be too short to ride much of anything there (believe me, I took my girls when my youngest was 2. She got to ride two rides the entire day - everything had a height requirement) and the older kids will be too old. Legoland is really geared to the 4-10 age group.

We have been to regular Knotts (when my youngest was 3) and it seems like she was able to ride everything in Camp Snoopy (I think, maybe not that Huff & Puff ride...) and a few of the family rides (her favorite was the log ride). They also have a lot of coasters, if your older children are into that. I do think that Knott's in general is better for the older crowd, but it is also better for the tiny tots than Legoland.
