Has anyone stayed at the Legoland Hotel yet? We are thinking of driving down for a few days in the spring. How many days do you need at Legoland? We'd want to do the park and the waterpark. Thanks for any and all advice!

Depending on the number of people in your party I would say only one day .

The hotel is only a few min. ( Max 5 min walk ) away from entrance . and it looks good & has an outdoor pool.

Thank you! There are just the three of us. DH, DD (will be 6), and me. Looking at a day in March on a Saturday.

When DS was 7, we spent a full day at just the regular part of LegoLand since the water park was not open. We arrived at opening (10 am) and left at about 4 pm.

It's a two minute walk from the park to the hotel. I couldn't believe how close they were. I'd say a full day is enough. The hotel is a lot of fun and I'm glad that we did it. It's expensive, but we had a great experience. There was a lot for the kids to do. It started raining right after we left the park and it didn't effect us at all. Our kids did the free build with a master activity at the hotel and then participated in the evening activities in the lobby while we say in the lounge and relaxed.

I would say two days--one day for the park and one for the water park. We were there from open until close (10-6) yesterday and was able to do all but one thing we wanted to do. No way would we have had time for water park too. The hotel did look awesome. My son is planning our next vacation for there, lol.

Thank you so much! We are planning a day at the park and a night at the hotel and then moving on to Disney. DD is afraid of water. She is 5 and prefers a shower to a bath and won't go in water above her knees.

The worst thing you can do is make an issue with it Do not force the issue .... she just might come around soon enough.

I don't force it. We live near the beach but rarely go. She'll go in and sometimes gets a little brave if other kids are playing and having fun but for the most part she's happy to play in the sand and shallow water.

Well done ..... The same applies to roller coasters etc.

Look .... watch .... then try.
