Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has been to Legoland Florida? It seems quite expensive for day passes :confused3 Is it any good?

As we don't 'do' queuing, we have AP's for Disney and Universal and tend to just visit in the evenings and/or quieter times for a couple of hours, I'm not sure we would enjoy a full day at Legoland if it is heaving?

Would we benefit by waiting and visiting in late August rather than this Easter trip?

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I haven't been personally. I know it was quiet when it first opened but would imagine it has got busier. In my opinion, you would definitely be better doing it in late August than at Easter. Are you aware that there is a free child ticket for each adult ticket purcahsed at the moment. Not sure if this will help reduce the cost for you. You need to use this code 11090603 and this link

I can only compare to Legoland Windsor, but the layouts are substantially the same.

I thought it was a very poor park which had no ability to cope with crowd levels. I'd hope they install a FP type system, because a 45 minute wait even for the most basic rides just wasn't fun. The day was a complete waste of time. And expensive even compared to Disney - £9 for an adults cheeseburger and fries :scared1:

I sincerely hope Orlando is miles better! But out experience with Windsor has put me off even trying it now.

I just used the code and saved $130!!!! Thanks so much for posting this!:cool1:

We enjoyed it - we went on the 3rd day it was open.

It very much geared up at younger children -DD was 5. I know it says upto 12 but I think older kids would be bored.

We did the buy an adult get a free kids ticket.

I've been wondering too. We almost got ourselves tickets for this year, but decided to skip legoland.
Even as a lego fan, I had enough with the lego shop in DTD and there is fun for kids outside the store where they can build and race cars (or whatever)

maybe we'll do it next year, but after doing some research, reading reviews and watching youtube vacation movies, I really think it's overpriced, even with the kid's free deal. At $68 a piece (internet print at home price) there are a lot more I would (and could) do with that kind of money, such as mini golf for example.

I'll be looking closely at this thread to see if I can get convinced that it's worth if for our 2013 trip
