We stayed at the LL hotel for 2 nights last October.
My thoughts:
- Very small hotel. It's one L shaped building with 5 floors.
- Pool is very small and not really themed. They had some foam
Lego blocks floating around the pool, and those were fun to play with.
- We stayed during the fall and LL is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We stayed on both those nights and got cheaper rates as a result, I believe $175 for a Kingdom room and $250 for a Friends room. This is expensive compared to the Disney Values ($95).
- Kingdom room was nice, Friends room was horrible. There are only 6-7 Friends rooms in the hotel and it seems they picked the worst rooms, put in a Friends theme and jacked up the prices since they are in such high demand. We were on the second floor, right outside of the elevators so it was very noisy. Also, our "view" was of the roof and 3/4 of the window was covered with some Friends decal.
- There is a $20 daily resort fee.
- "Free" breakfast at the hotel restaurant was quite good.
- Juice boxes, small Lego toy (Mixels), and a magazine in the safe for the kids. Small bottles of water, Keurig, small fridge in the room.
- Small discount (10-15%) if you have an annual pass.
Overall, it was something worth experiencing one time but we felt it was overpriced and not worth it. We'll still visit LL, but will stick with Disney hotels. Hope this helps.
