Legoland during Christmas

How are the crowds at Legoland during Christmas time? I get two weeks off the week of Christmas and the week after every year. I know to steer clear of Disneyland and I am sure Legoland is no where near as crowded as Disneyland during that time but just wondering how busy it gets?
I havent been there in about 10 years and with my son liking Legos now, I think it would be a cool place to take him. Back when I used to go to Legoland it didn't seem very busy nothing like Disneyland but with how much more they've added to that park I am thinking it's much more popular nowadays.

My second choice would probably be Knotts Berry Farm.

I think Legoland during Christmas is fine. It can be crowded, but it is nowhere as crowded as Disneyland. The one area that can be a problem is the snow part. They make snow and since snow is such a rarity for southern California, it is jam packed. The Legoland Hotel looks very cute. I haven't stayed there, but walked through it.

I don't think I've even been to Knotts during Christmas. We always feel disappointed and let down with Knotts, but we haven't had young children in a long time. When my kids were young, the Camp Snoopy area was very fun. I've never seen Knotts crowded.

With your child interested in Legos, I recommend Legoland. It was actually more magical for my youngest than Disneyland was.

I went to Legoland this past Christmas. It was crowded, but not nearly as bad as Disneyland. Like the person above said, the snow area gets packed. My kids waited 45 minutes to play in the snow. Most of the ride waits are reasonable though. They also do fireworks some nights the week after Christmas. The only downside to going in winter is no water park.

The Legoland Hotel is awesome, so if you're planning on staying there, definitely do it. It makes the experience that much better. If it's too expensive, we've found most of the all-suite hotels nearby are nice and reasonably priced.

I don't recommend Knotts unless it's just for a day-trip. Knotts isn't bad, but it's nothing special either.
