Can you buy them now and not have them begin until you arrive? Or do they begin when you buy them?

We bought ours in November (Merlin Awesomer Pass). After purchase, they emailed me confirmation and a voucher for each of us. In December, we used the vouchers to enter the turnstiles, then went to the annual pass center to take our photos and have the AP's issued. The AP's begin when we first used them, not by the purchase date.

We just bought Awesomer APs during the BOGO sale. On our temporary passes it says you have 60 days to activate them at Legoland & your year begins from that date. If you don't activate in 60 days then your year starts from date of purchase.
