Lego Store Shipping Costs Question

I have a Disney trip coming up in a few weeks and was very curious on how much the Lego Store shipping cost to ship something back home might be. Looking for a general idea from anyone who has had them ship something domestically. Has anyone ever had Legos shipped back to your home and if so how much did it cost?

Normally I'd just go to my local Lego store at the mall, but recently found out I can use the Disney Gift Cards at the Lego store, which means we essentially get 5% off (via Target Redcard) + the Lego VIP points gained. So want to make sure it wouldn't cost way more to ship and lose any benefit from this via the shipping costs.

Thanks!

I'm not much help as I don't recall what the shipping costs were, but I asked about shipping at the store a few months ago and was shown a table of costs. Shipping costs were based on the amount of money spent.

I also am not much help, other than to say that I can't imagine that shipping would be cheap enough to not negate your 5% savings from using Gift Cards. Say you bought a $100 set with gift cards. You paid $95 for that $100 gift card. Unless shipping is less than $5 (unlikely), you are better off just ordering from Lego.com and getting free shipping or getting from your local Lego store if you have one. We have take advantage of saving a little by using Disney gift cards to pay, but only when driving and able to cart it back home ourselves.

Ty to you both. That def helps. I am now thinking we will bring a extra backpack and if we get anything (medium or smaller sets), we will just put in our luggage. That or wait till November for when we drive down for a longer trip.

You cannot use Disney gift cards at the Lego store. Not sure who told you that, but it's not correct. We spend thousands annually at the Lego Store in Downtown Disney at Disneyland and they absolutely do NOT accept Disney GC. I've asked. Maybe Disney Springs is different?

This is exactly why I don't remember what the costs were. The sets I was interested in were on sale in the store, but not online which had me excited until I did the math and came to the conclusion that paying full price online with free shipping would be cheaper than the sale price in the store plus shipping. These weren't souvenirs so I just ended up ordering online

They do accept Disney Gift Cards at the Lego store in Disney Springs, Orlando. Have done this numerous times, most recently in January of this year. Many (but not all) third party Disney Springs merchants accept Disney Gift Cards. You let them know that is how you would like to pay and they pull out a separate machine that allows them to run the gift card. I have done this at the Lego store and at Vera Bradley.

We love looking at the LEGO store to find what we want to purchase. Then, buy it from Amazon. The price is generally the same or slightly less. We have prime, so free shipping on most of our purchases. We also don't have to worry about carrying it around with us or figure out shipping.
