Like many of you, I am an avid Star Wars fan, i've probably watched each film and read every book and publication, including a small amount of the Wookiepedia (cut me some slack, have you seen how many pages exist on there lol) more than my wife has read the Twilight Saga popcorn::
Additionally i'm also a lover of Lego (wish my boys were a little more enthusiatic about Lego) So when Lego jumped on the Star Wars band wagon, I was in heaven :woohoo:

So i'm just wondering if there are any other Lego Star Wars fans out there? If so what does you collection consist of?

My collection so far:
:darth: Collectors Darth Vader Tie Fighter (2006 WDW visit)
:darth: Collectors Boba Fett Slave II (2010 WDW visit)
:darth: Collectors Imperial ATAT (2010 WDW visit)

I've also got an assortment of minifigures, that I intend on having one of each of the Lego Star Wars genre, which I will once my collection is complete, place into a cabinet of some description.

I do not have any of the lego star wars sets, but my family and I went to Legoland this year, and shortly after you enter the park, there is a lego statue of a life-size Darth Vader and R2-D2. It was awesome to see, not to mention all of the other lego buidlings, staues, etc. that are there.

I enjoy Lego, though my son is the Legomaniac in the family (just as I was at his age), so the vast majority of the Legos are his. He has quite a few of the Star Wars sets - enough that I don't recall them at the moment, although they are all the small sets - no AT-AT or Death Star for him.

Years ago, on a trip to WDW, there was a Death Star at the Lego store. The box was trashed, but it had a notice on it that the contents were fully intact, but it was heavily discounted due to the condition of the box. I hemmed and hawed, and talked myself out of buying it - I should have bought it and thrown away as many clothes as it took in order to fit it into the suitcase.

Life long Star Wars fan here. DS is starting to get into Star Wars mainly by osmosis. Over Thanksgiving weekend he came downstairs and caught part of the Battle of Hoth and was hooked. I caught him reading the LEGO Star Wars Strategy Guide a few weeks ago. He's only 3 so I let him play in the cantina and watch me play the game. He isn't quite ready for the cartoons or movies yet. Last time we were at the LEGO store and MoA he jumped out of the stroller at the sight of the Death Star and Executor in the display case. I wish I had a video of DD trying to put the droids together in the hands on section of the store. She kept going over to the display trying to find R2's dome which wasn't in the bin. At three both of my kids know their Star Wars characters about as well as their Disney characters.

Sorry for rambling. Bad habit from my history teacher days.

I got up to blue canisters and stopped. Just didn't feel like having to run thru the game again. I liked playing as the ghost. There was one character I couldn't unlock.

Lego + Star Wars = Fun.

DS12 has a bunch of the Star Wars Legos.

Allot of the Smaller Fighters and the "Play Sets" that have allot of the Mini-figs. He has also go severaly of the Key Chains just to have me remove the chain so he could have the Mini-fig without buying a set.

We like all the Lego Star Wars Video Games... Like the Clone Wars version the least.

My Favorite Lego video game is no doubt... Harry Potter Years 1-4. Just exploring Hogwarts is Fun.

I stopped at about 71 % completed. I have most of the silver canisters and red bricks. I never got around to the blue canisters or the bonus levels.

I got all the silver canisters and red bricks. Good trick I learned, after the fact, was to buy money increases, go thru pod races, then buy all the items. You can buy the red beck finder which helps a lot.

Thanks. I got the canister and brick finder. I just ran out of ambition. One can only go through the same board so many times looking for stuff before it gets old.

Which Legoland was that? Window, Florida, California?

We went to Windsor last weekend, I loved the Star Wars display, as did DS x 3 I suspect even my DW was impressed.
My boys have just got into the films, wii games, especially the eldest who has really gotten into the story. He asked me to tell him more about Mace Windu the other day.
I'll be dragging DW to the Lego store in downtown to add a new piece to my collection.

Yeah, I made it a bit longer than you, but I ran into the same thing. Plus, when you start trying to find blue canisters, you go back to the default characters and can't play as ghost any more. I did the bounty hunter thing as well, but I prefer playing as the jedi. They are timed against a clock and located in different spots than th other ones. I just got tired of searching for yet something else. But, I did like playing as emperor or Dooku and electrocuting people.

Last night I was playing again. I tried to get past a sticky spot I had when I was playing with DS. In Episode IV Chapter 5 there is a jump I just can't get. In the big machinery room early in the chapter. You need to grapple from one platform to the other. I can never make the jump even when I toggle forward. Any tips?

It was the one in Florida. They had just opened a waterpark there as well, for an additional price, but we did not do that.

If it where I am thinking, ther are a couple options. You can connect the platform thing next to the turn thing and when you raise it, you can jump up. There is a lever that release a bomb that you can push, blow up the floor, get the car and drive over the flashing lights, which builds a bridge for you. You may be able to run over all five of them quickly, but I do better with the car.

Some years ago I was playing Star Wars Battlefront 1 on the PC, by sheer fluke I managed to kill Darth Vader.
I was playing on the City in Sky map, whilst outside on one of the walkway and I threw a grenade, which landed near the intended target. Darth Vader comes round the corner and is hit by the blast, which pushed him off the walkway.
It turns out that it was near impossible to kill him, I found the game's forum and shared my tale. Others replied that they had fired everything at him and he still cut them down.

I got it finally. The problem was I wasn't pushing the platform onto the button so it wasn't triggering the spinner to raise the platform.

I'm planning on picking up Lego Star Wars again this weekend, havn't played it some time and still got 60% to complete, that's provided my boys havn't deleted my profile or saved over it, which they have a habit of doing.
