Lego Batman help

We rented Lego Batman for Wii tonight and my son is getting so frustrated. He can use the grappling hook to climb, but can't figure out how to get off of it! His poor Batman just hangs there! We've tried everything. He's only 5 and I'm video game challenged! Can anyone help us??

My kids (5 and 4) LOVE the Lego games for Wii. We just got Batman about a month or so ago for $20 at Walmart!

did you buy the game with a book that came in the case? this usually explains controls like this.

The book that came with it isn't much help. I'll check out that site and see if it helps. He really seems to like it, but can't do much else until he figures this out. I wanted him to rent this one to see if he liked it because I thought this one or others like it would make a good Christmas gift.

Okay...well, my 8 yr old said to press B or A. Not sure if that helps, but we have the game and he seems pretty good at it

ETA...well, shoot...you said Wii, and we have an Xbox. But it should be an accessory button of some sort on the controller or nunchucks...
