Legitimate Work from Home Companies?

You just have to work 8 hours a month. You get paid once a month. The third Thursday of the mont for the previous months work. You answer questions. During the day it's slower,but evenings and weekedns can be a mad house.

I've gotten paid every day so far---about $1 a day. It would be fantastic if there was just more work. I'm really hoping they will have more up soon--their letter sounded very positive.

Hi everyone...I've been following along on this thread and have joined in with the Cloud Crowd too. I did 16 cents worth of work 3 days ago and have not been able to do anymore since. Everytime I check it just says no new tasks. I read the letter and know the issues so I'm hoping that there will be more work soon! But also I haven't gotten paid. It's only 16 cents so no big deal but I was hoping it would have posted by now so that I knew it was working. It just says "payment pending approval" ??? I really hope this pans out!

I left my FaceBook profile open all day and kept hitting refresh on the available jobs page - finally caught some available work this afternoon - the "Grade Written Text" stuff. I worked at it fast as I could for about 30 min. before it dried up and there was no more available. I completed about 8 jobs. There was some pretty shoddy stuff to grade so I gave some "poor" and "weak" ratings. That seemed to damage my credibility and they rejected pretty much anything that I didn't give at least a "fair" or "good". That's a crock. Nothing I read was worth an "excellent". I sent them a msg. to let them know that they still have people not doing a thorough job. They're just rushing thru the work to try to rack up more of it in a short amount of time and they're not doing it RIGHT. For example there was one piece that only had 1 paragraph rewritten out of 3 from the original website. It was an incomplete rewrite. Sure, what WAS done was an improvement but still. It was only 1/3 done. So I gave it a "poor" then I get a rejection.

From what I've been reading on the eHow formums they DO respond to contact so I'm hopeful I'll hear something back shortly about it.

Meanwhile, I just got paid a few minutes ago in my PayPal account for 7 out of the 8 from todays work. I still have 1 job pending approval. But I didn't expect it so soon.

There are some things on CloudCrowd Discussion Board about what is happening like that. The problem is the scammers just going in and approving bad work, so when you give it the honest poor rating, it gets compared to the scammer's good rating and you get rejected b/c it looks like you didn't rate it correctly.

They are working to fix this. And they also note that as long as you are doing honest work, right now your credibility rating may take a hit, and if for some reason you get booted you should be able to open an appeal and they will review your work to see if it was a mistake or truly bad work. Once the bugs are out your credibility rating will be true to your work.

I can totally relate to the poor ratings. The first two nights of ratings...all the re-writes were graded good or better. I spend the exact amount of time and effort on the the third night's work and every darn one of them were rejected. And now, for the past few days, nothing available at all. Hopefully, they can get the bugs worked out soon.

I took the test for KGB and passed, but now I'm not sure if I want to sign up because of needing to give them your bank account info.

Can anyone tell me more info about what you do for them, about how much work they have and how long it takes to get paid.

When I did it- which to be fair was awhile ago- it took about 24 hours each time.

It took at least 24 hours, but I want to say a little more than that. Maybe close to 48 hours.

Okay- I've been to the KBG website a few times looking for these opportunities....but they are all physical call center jobs. Am I not going to the correct place? Can you send me the link of where I can go? I desperately want to get started! Thanks!

I try to put in an hour a day and I make about $65 or so a month. I average about $2 an hour, because I am slower than some and picky about what questions I take, so I may go a few minutes between questions. Someone who will answer whatever may get $3-$4 an hour, I think it would be hard to make more than that.

If I didn't already have another job, I would put more time into KGB, and try to make $300 or so a month. Maybe do 5 hours a day- so $10 a day. But I am just so exhausted after working at my other job, and taking care of the kids and house I just don't have the energy, so I do what I can! I just checked- I have logged almost 18 hours this month and my monthly totals to date are $39.85.

For those who asked, for each step..it does take 24-48 hours between submitting your answers. And remember, the graders don't work weekends (I think I read?) so if you finish up on Friday night you may not hear back till Monday afternoon.

I have worked 44 hours so far this month and made $188.00. I try to do $10 a day. Somedays more, someday less, but I try to get $300 a month. But remember you are responsible for your onw taxes.
