Legitimacy of Windsor Hills Owners

Hello we are looking to a 4 bedroom home in Windsor Hills for an October trip. After searching through hundreds of homes I think I've found the one I want. How do I make sure the owner it legit? THere are only three positive feedbacks on his VRBO listing and I have not seen his name or home referenced here? To book the home I just need to send him $250 down payment but just a little leary about doing that without any idea if he is the real deal. Suggestions please.

You could post the link here, maybe someone has stayed there (and just not posted about it). I'm sure someone will be along soon to list the site to check if the taxes are paid (if not, a sign they are in financial trouble). Other than that, go with your gut. Have they been pleasant to deal with and responsive to your questions?

You can check to see if his taxes are current by going to the Osceola County website if you know his first and last name.

Check on www.windsorhillsbest.com to see if he is on there under the 4 bedroom homes, as all owners are screened very well on there and also checked regularly to advertise on the site. They have to get a letter from the Master Association that all dues are up to date to even put their home on there. That is why it is the site being recommended by the Windsor Hills Master Association, http://www.windsorhillsmaster.com/doku.php/amenities/ to check this out.

We are renting a 4 bedroom home in Windsor Hills that we found on homeaway.com. The couple we are renting from seem very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. If you want to look at this house PM me and i will give you the info

Thank you, I emailed the owner and he got back to me straight away with his management company. Everything has checked out and we are ready to go!
