Leger Wonka Pre-Trip....Little Surprises Around Every Corner (7/6 New Purchases)

I think DF came out of the womb obsessed with video games. I bought him a PS2 when we first moved too because his dad made him leave his (that he'd bought with his on money) for his brother to use. I bought them, so I could hold that over his head so he would share and let me play too. He was playing a racing game the other night and surprised me by painting a car just for me.... A beetle bug, LSU purple with stars all over it... Even video game nerds are sweeties!

Jah! Y'all should feel special.

bummer that Buddy's dad made him leave his PS2. That was nice of you to get him another.

that's so funny that he painted a car on his racing game just for you. I'm obsessed with Need For Speed

She was SUCH a great role model for me to have growing up with (or so my mom said). Not. I caught her smoking one night at my grandparents house when we we're like 12. She asked me to cover for her just this ONE time, and she swore to be that she'd quit...... yeah right. Found her in the same place doing the same thing the next night! Oh well

Haha I'm only 5'3-4" ish. Two of my best friends are 5'10 and 6'0. So I am the odd ball of the bunch. Buddy is 6'0, so next to him, I'm also quite short. Cheri will love me and my bff Tina (who hopefully will ditch school to come). Tina is about an inch or so shorter than me, so we'll all just be shorties together! yay!

Don't you just love how your parents think they are just the best judge of other kids? I won't be that foolish when I have kids. I will let them decide who to be friends with. Even if they are family That's nasty that she started smoking at 12. geez.

FYI Just don't expect much from the luau food. The show was lots of fun but the food was just OK. The rice is really just rice pilaf not "polynesian rice" as they said. LOL. The ribs were yummy tho! It was def worth it for one time for us, i'm glad i did it!

Thanks for the heads up on the food at the luau. Something in my gut was telling me not to expect much from the food since I'm assuming most of the price is for the show. But since there are good ribs I'm SO down for that!! I'm a sucker for ribs. I really can't wait to see the show!

I'm gonna try and get my itinerary updated today....I need to take some things off and add some things and do a little rearranging. You'll notice I change a bunch of stuff (minus my ADR's) almost up until the week before I go on my trip

btw, I see you are a fellow Georgian. Very cool! How long does it take you to get to WDW from Columbus? Or are you flying down for this trip?

Have you ever seen the cartoon "Cow and Chicken"? There was a little mini-cartoon that went with that one called "Weasel vs. Baboon" or something like that.

When the weasel would do something good he would say "I am weasel" - well me and DH would both go around quoting this cartoon so much - we kind of became team weasel.

We us some good cartoons. The more potty humor, the better.

Ya - it took me a while to get thru that TR! I ended up skimming and just reading your major posts towards the end. You guys look like you had a blast!

I think we were actually at the same parks on the same days at a couple of points last year! Too bad we didn't see each other.

I am about 6 - 6.5 hours away from WDW. I'm about 1.5 hours south of you.

We're driving down - I am not the best flyer.

Carla- Im ready back through your old TR. I paused at the animation studios which Cheri having to stand up to draw.... I do too But, I had to tell you I cracked up at the picture of Chris at Rose. Buddy has those same shorts, and I practically have to trick him into changing just so I can wash the durn things. Completely cool that he got to do the Indian Jones thing. I'm hoping that when we go, I can get Buddy to Backlot Tour at the very beginning of one of the show lines, so he can do the ship/water thing. I think he'd love it!

The long time occupant and fan favorite of Innoventions East, Fantastic Plastic Works, has ceased operation.

Now we won't get to run again, what EVER will we do?!

I was honestly hoping to make Mike try it. Then he would know how much I worked to get that little robot for him that he left at the resort! That was just too much running for me at 10 am...on vacation at that!

I don't remember what shorts Chris was wearing I guess I'll have to go back and look. The R&C was a blast! Those waitresses were awesome. Chris was soooooo excited that he got picked to be in the stunt show. I hope Buddy gets to do the Backlot Tour thing. Last September they were having technical difficulties so they didn't have any of the audience participate.

Buddy was looking over my shoulder last night (I was showing him y'alls '07 pictures.) and he freaked out about Chris getting to build a light saver, when "dude those are my shorts", and then said "I WANNA BE IN THE INDIAN JONES SHOW!!! THIS YEAR ME AND CHRIS CAN DO NINJA POSES TOGETHER!" He cracked me up.

And he said he'll come back, but you need to talk Chris into joining in to, at least on your TR.

that's too funny that Buddy freaked out about the build your own light saber station. It's in the toy store at DTD. He wasn't sure if he should do it or not but I told him "when else do you get to make your very own light saber?" so he did it and he had a blast! Now I really gotta go back and look at those pictures and see what shorts he was wearing that day. Did I post the video of him doing the ninja pose on my '07 TR? I'm pretty sure I did but I can't remember. I'm asuming I did since now Buddy wants to do ninja poses with Chris now

I'll try and get Chris back on here. I keep reminding him about it but he always just visits imdb and eBay and his email. He is registered though as DisneyLex

Yay for scanning pictures. I might try to find some old Disney pictures tonight too and scan them at work on Monday. hmmm? Do I want to embarras myself and show the 1995 pictures when I still had a bowl cut almost? (My mother did NOT like fixing little girl hair in the morning, so she cut it all off ) I asked him why he stopped posting last night and he said "Because the DIS scared me" .... <---- me at that moment.... "I ended up in a chat or something about babies... and it scared me. I don't like exploring without you there to help."

He wants to get t-shirts like Scottny had. I asked him if he was going to put my SN on them or if he was actually gunna start talking so he could put his.... He got all pitiful and said he would. He's ready to go to HD this weekend and ummm aquire some LGMH's hehe
