I haven't gotten to it yet. Work has been crazy and then when I get home lately I am scowering ebay for new deals on Disney pins. I'm so addicted. I was actually gonna try and work on it now since work has calmed down a bit thank goodness. It will be up by the end of the week for sure though because my Dad and Uncle are going out of town tomorrow morning and our sales man's wife is having a baby sometime this week (she's scheduled to be educed Friday morning) so it will just be me in the office for a couple days. I'm gonna at least try to get the pictures uploaded today, and hopefully get everything done. I'm not gonna make any promises because I can't seem to hold to them

Good Afternoon now. I'm doing okay. After I said I was working on the update work got busy again. I've been trying to work on my pictures in between everything.

Wheeww ! I knew it! I knew those pins were addictive! I refuse to fall for another Disney collectible. You can't make me !

yes they are!!!! Especially after you start trading them at WDW. I wasn't as addicted as I am now since I started trading. Ebay is now my favorite store You know you wanna look at some pins. I'll have to post some pictures of my new ones Pin Porn!!

sorry girl. It got busy here at work again. Whenever I have a moment to squeeze some work on my report in I do it. Trust me, it's in the works. It's just slow going. Stupid work keeping me from posting my update! Ugh!

Mini TR!!!

It's finally arrived. Well, the beginning of it anyways. I know I can only fit 25 pictures into a post if I leave out the smilies so I will do my best here. This will be a two part Mini TR. Hope you all can hold out.

Now, On with the show.

As you all know, I went to Orlando a couple of weeks ago to help my Best Friend with her newest baby. Well, while I was there I visited a couple of other friends that live in the area. They have WDW Annual passes so I decided I wanted to go to a park with them one day over the weekend while my Best Friend's husband was back in town (he travels for work). So, then the next thing to do was decide on what park I wanted to go to.....hmmmmm....at first I wanted to go to EPCOT. But then we looked at the park hours and saw that MK was open from 8am to 12am! That was the deciding factor right there. MK it was. I didn't even take into account that Spring Break was going on. Yeah.....can we say CROWDS!?!?

So, we woke up at about 6am that Sunday morning (March 16th) and got ready. We were in the car, on our way to MK by 7am. Had to park somewhere in the middle section (can't remember what character...Pluto maybe?). Hopped on the next tram to the ticket center. Rebecca got in line to buy my ticket for me to see if she could get me the AAA discount but they wouldn't give it to her because you can only get the discount if you purchase the ticket in advance. Darn!! Oh well. So, with ticket in hand we decide to get to MK by Ferry since the hoard went towards the monorail.

We had just missed the last Ferry so we had to wait for the next one but we were the first people down there waiting. Here's the first picture of the day.

There wasn't really anyone there yet so there were no lines at the ticket turnstiles. We walked right in. I think we missed the opening ceremony though. Bummer! Once inside we HAD to hit the pin store at Disney jewelers. But first I had to take a picture of the horse as I do every year.

Ah, that's better! While I was shopping I got Chris a few pins and some for my Dad and Uncle. Then Chris called me to tell me that he was giving me an extra $100 to spend as an early anniversary present!! Whoohoo!!!!

Once we had our first spending spree of the day I finally got a picture of the castle.

We scouted out a photopass photographer and had her take our picture. She took like 6 pictures! It was awesome!! I'll post those later.

I decided I wanted to head here first:

And as soon as we turned the corner past the sign we saw Rafiki and King Louie. Rebecca has never taken the time to have her picture taken with any of the characters so I told her we'd overcome that right then and there. There was no Photopass photographer so we had to use my camera. The CM with the characters took this one

Rebecca had fun having her picture taken with them. So after that we headed straight for PoTC!!!

Here's a couple pictures I shot in the ride.

We walked over towards Splash Mountain afterwords and it wasn't working yet. So instead we hit the Pin Trader store for some more pins of course. After that I heard from chris again and he wanted me to send him some pictures of HM. So we booked it over in that direction. The line was only a 20 min wait so we hopped in it.

Here's a couple of shots I got while inside the ride (and no, I didn't accidentally leave the flash on this time hehe!)

The ride got stopped at one point and I was so excited because then I could snap a good pic of these guys!!

After that ride I was really starting to get hungry so we stopped off at the Village House (think that's what it's called) and had some chicken tenders. Yum!! Glad we stopped when we did because the crowd of hungry people followed us in. We were first in line. hehe!! Do I have good timing or what??

After we had food in our tummies I wanted to book it over to Tomorrowland to see what the wait times were in those lines since it was really starting to crowd up. Almost everything had a wait. I mean, even the TTA had a wait!!

And I'm gonna have to stop here for now. Sorry!!! Time for me to get ready to leave work. I should be able to get the rest up tonight. Chris will be working. So I'll need something to take up my time

Going on Spring Break *shudder* ye are a brave lass Good choice with the ferry – I kept forgetting about it as an option. Amazing the difference in crowds just from the horse pic and the castle pic after your pin shopping.

Nice score with the character photos in Adventureland and good call going that way instead of trying to brave the crowd flow into Tomorrowland or Fantasyland. Yo Ho! PoTC! Splash Mountain still isn’t working? I thought it was only supposed to be down Jan/Feb.

20 min not bad for HM and GREAT pics inside, especially of the guys! Great timing in catching the food. And now you can hit more rides while everyone else feeds their faces!

You can tell the crowd difference between the two pics huh? I hadn't even noticed. I'll have to look again and pay better attention.

You can't forget about the ferry. I always feel like I'm neglecting it whenever I take the Monorail. Both are fun though. There's just more room on the ferry. Less squishing and more chance for a seat.

I always go to the left at MK. Hate following the crowd to tomorrowland. Although the crowd control didn't quite work out the way it normally does. In a not so crowded park (not spring break week ) when you start on the left by the time you get to the right the crowd is on the left....it was NOT that way during spring break.

I think Splash Mountain was just down for the morning or something. It was up later...but did we get to ride it? hmmmm....

Thank you on the compliment on the pics from HM. That means a lot coming from mr. dSLR Once I get some extra $ (will that ever happen?) I might have to take your advice and get the less expensive dSLR. I just love it when I can take pictures that don't come out well for others. Just doesn't happen very often with my camera.

Thanks for stopping by. I will probably have the rest of the Mini TR up tomorrow since work will be ultra quiet for the next couple of days. As for now, upon request I'm gonna start taking pictures of my disney pins and posting those. Am I crazy? I think so 'cause it might take a while

oh man, good luck to your friend that's at WDW for spring break. I think the crowds for SB are almost worse than summer crowds.
