Leger Wonka Pre-Trip....Little Surprises Around Every Corner (7/6 New Purchases)

i'm anxious to hear about the Wishes cruise! So $300 for how many people? If you compare to some of the other Disney costs, it's probably not bad at all and it just sounds wonderful, esp if you can have the boat all to yourselves!

it's $300 for 10 people. That includes snacks and drinks and decorations for the boat. I'm not affraid to pay top dollar for disney stuff, I just am weary about watching the fireworks from that far away. But it's got to be great, otherwise they wouldn't do it from year to year. And yes, we will have the boat all to ourselves. Only gonna be one person on there that we don't know and that's a CM to drive the boat which is cool with me because I have no clue how to do that nor do I know where I'm going in those canals :rotfl: I will be sure to give a thruough (sp?) review and take LOTS of pictures to share when we get back. :thumbsup2

I can't wait to hear about the Wishes cruise too! During our trip last September, we ordered MIL a bday cake to be delivered to our room at the GF. We had a big plan to surprise her and they messed it up by brining the cake an hour early and she was the only one there and answered the door. Then as we cut the cake it was to have strawberry custard filling and it did not. So, to make a long story short, they gave us vouchers for a free Wishes cruise that we plan on using in September :woohoo: We were supposed to do it on that trip but we only had one night that we could and it rained so we postponed until a later trip.

I agree Carla, never be afraid to pay to dollar for Disney stuff :thumbsup2 Of course my DH doesn't have that same though

wow that sucks that they messed up that special order cake so much. I'd say I'm having second thoughts now but when I read that they gave you a voucher for a FREE wishes cruise that's enough to satisfy me!! That's so awesome! Worth WAY more than you paid for that cake. Go Disney!

So, Since the schedule for September is finally up, I decided to work on my itinerary. I'm not in love with it so far so it will probably change quite a bit but here is what I have so far

Sept. 14th (my birthday) - Epcot 9am - 2pm
Hotel (to scrub up & prepare for dinner) - 2:30pm - 4:00pm
Shula's - 5:00pm - 7:00pm
MK - 7:30pm - Whenever (Evening EMH's)

Sept. 15th - Morning EMH @ AK 8:00am till around lunch
Hotel - come back for lunch and a break
MGM for evening EMH - 2:00 or 3:00pm till whenever
We'll be viewing the 2nd run of Fantasmic for sure

Sept. 16th - This day is break day...we'll be driving to Lake Placid, FL to see my Grandparents since it's only 2 hours away. We'll probably be there until about 2:00pm and then head back to go to DTD. We'll also try to use our Putt Putt vouchers and go to the Adventurer's Club at PI with Cheri and her crew. We'll probably do dinner either at the resort or Planet Hollywood.

Sept. 17th (Chris' Birthday) - MGM 9am - 4pm
Lunch around 12pm at SciFi
4pm back to hotel to get ready for Wishes Cruise...eat dinner at food court and then head to wherever our boat is docked for the cruise. It will either leave from GF or Poly. Cheri and her crew are gonna meet us up for the cruise too. I'm also going to try and get my grandparents to meet us for it as well.

Sept. 18th - I haven't figured this day out yet but I'm pretty sure I want to hop over to Epcot in the afternoon to walk around the World Showcase and take in Illuminations. We might just sleep in and go over to Epcot around 10:30am just before the World Showcase opens.

Sept. 19th - We'll probably be at MK all day because I assume they will do a MNSSHP this night and we wanna be there for that!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Now, I need to figure out my ADR's :scared1:

And I just can't wait to hear about the Wishes cruise :hyper:

Hey Carla, the new itinerary looks awesome! Have you ever been to Shula's before? I've wanted to go but haven't had the chance yet. I'm also interested in the Adventurer's Club...we've only done the Comedy Warehouse.

:rotfl: I can't spell it either...no worries

I've never been to the Adventurer's Club before. Cheri and her husband went last September and said they loved it. I will be sure to take lots of pictures and make a good post on the Club when we get back.

We did walk PI when we were down there last year and saw all the dance clubs and the stores and such. It's neat but unless you're going to one of the places there it's not somewhere that's too fun to just walk around. It's a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be.

Hey Carla, the new itinerary looks awesome! Have you ever been to Shula's before? I've wanted to go but haven't had the chance yet. I'm also interested in the Adventurer's Club...we've only done the Comedy Warehouse.

Thanks Betsy! :thumbsup2 I have never been to Shula's before. I've wanted to go for years and years but never really wanted to shell out the $$ for the food. But, I think my birthday is enough of a celebration to fork it over for. Chris and I tried to go there once on our honeymoon, took one look at the prices and turned right back around :rotfl: Plus we weren't dressed right. It's business casual. That was back when I didn't do any research about things before going to WDW. Shame on me.

Oh you've been to the Comedy Warehouse? We're gonna try and go there too this year. We wanted to go last year but by the time we got down to PI the show had already started and the next show wasn't until 1am :scared1: . Anyways, how was it when you went? Cheri and Mike rave about it (not sure if you know them but Cheri used to be on the dis under the name Cherbear.)

I will give reviews of everything after our trip for sure :thumbsup2 I like to do as many new things as possible whenever we go to disney. :flower3:

That's pretty much the same reason we have never gone to Shula's was the $$$. I think your birthday is a perfect time to give it a try! I can't wait to hear about it. I'm sure it will be awesome!

DH and I go to the Comedy Warehouse at least once a trip. Pre DD we would go 3 different nights and some nights we would go to more than one show  It's cool because you will never see the same show twice because it's all improv. Here's a tip...if you sit by the phone on the wall...be ready ;) It is a blast and some of the same comedians have been there since we started going a few years ago so it's pretty fun to see them year after year. They just never disappoint.

I do remember Cheri. I was on her last trippie and really enjoyed it. Is she no longer on the Dis? She was so sweet and funny!

I'm happy you are Going to a few new places! It will be great to hear your reviews and see what you think :goodvibes

Yay Carla........a partial itinerary!!!!!!!!!!:cool1: Sounds like a blast so far!!!!!!
Keep it coming.........:rotfl2:
:goodvibes

From what DisneyMom told me about it it sounds great and worth the $$.
Hopefully we won't be disapponted.

Thats awesome that ya'll have been to the Comedy Warehouse every year and there's still some of the same comedians there :thumbsup2 I can't wait to check it out!! I'll have to try and sit next to the phone like you said

Cheri definately is sweet! She doesn't really get on the Dis anymore because her computer and monitor at home went kaput! She would love to get on at work but I think they blocked the site or something.:confused3 She hopes to be getting a lap top soon. She will be @ WDW again this September though so if you go and some of the dates overlap you'll get to meet her too :thumbsup2

Changes will be in black

Sept. 13th:
2am - 9:30am: leave the house and drive to WDW. Once we're there we'll check in and then eat lunch at the food court. 9am - 3:30pm: MGM
12pm: Lunch @ SciFi

thanks sharky! :goodvibes

yeah, never know what could happen since they're older so I take every chance I can to see them. I'm gonna try and get them to come to Orlando for the Fireworks Cruise as well.

Yeah, it will be our first time eating at Kona. Can't wait. I really wanna see the resort :thumbsup2

Thank you.

We have never eaten at Boatwrights either but I've heard good things about it. I figure since it's at the resort we are staying at we better try it this time. I've heard good things.
