Hm that is weird. I have Vista on my pc at home and hubby has xp on his laptop, and we don't have any problems. Oh well. But you mentioned you have a Wii. How do you like it? Santa says if we are really good we might get one this year The other day the kids were at best buy playing Mario Kart and it was all I could do to pry their sticky little fingers off the steering wheel.

Love the Wii! It doesn't get used nearly as often as the Playstation 3 but it is still fun. I love the Wii-motes. Mario Kart looks super fun! I don't blame them for not wanting to let go My favorite games right now for the Wii are Wii play (which comes with an extra Wii-mote) and Super Mario Galaxy. Both are super fun! Chris keeps trying to get me to say I want Mario Kart but I gotta try it first. There's always someone's little kids playing it whenever I go to the store Hope you guys get one! And if you do you'll have to let me know what your Wii number is so I can send you some Mii's!

Nope, not a wireless issue unless it has to do with your particular wireless router as I have two laptops running Vista at home connecting without issue. But every situation is different and there are just so many variables that go into things "talking" on networks Whatever the situation glad that you're back online

You got a Wii too! We just got one a couple of weeks ago and Bean and I are in a battle over if she gets to play Pirates of the Caribbean at World's End or if I get to play Iron Man

We just picked up Super Mario Party 8 so we can have another multi-player game I love the remotes too, much more fun and interactive than just sitting in a chair with a regular controller

I was reading through all the internet troubles and it was all going waaaay over my head. Then I got to the part that said...smoked pot while pregnant...and I thought...Whoa! I've done some bad stuff in my life. But I even quit smoking regular old cancer sticks (as Sharky likes to call them) when I was pregnant. I'm not gonna be a martyr and say I've never done the stuff at all, but NOT WHILE I WAS PREGNANT! Sheesh!

Hope your internet starts working again Carla. I HATE computer problems, and mine has alot of them. I have Vista too, and for some reason if I turn my printer off, the next time I turn it on I have to install it again. EVERY time. It's REALLY starting to get on my nerves. I don't know what would make it do that

Well, considering now that I have Windows XP back on my laptops and everything is working perfectly lead me to believe it is Vista in my case. Plus, I know a LOT of other people out there have had the same issues. I've read post after post on the vista forums about the issue. There's even a "fix" for it in Service Pack 1 that they just released last month. That fixed my problem for about 2 hours which is when I made the decision to go back to XP. It's just ridiculous how some stuff works with vista perfectly fine and others just don't. I'm SO ready to just start buying Mac computers which I think I will whenever we get another computer.

Yuppers, had our Wii for a while now. Glad you and Bean are having fun with yours Iron Man looks like fun. I got that Game for Chris on the Playstation 3.

And yes, moving around while you play is much better than just sitting there.

Sorry about all the computer talk. Everything is fixed now so it shouldn't come up any more As for smoking pot while pregnant....that's my Uncle's "wife" for ya. she's a cook. None of us think it's a good idea to smoke anything while pregnant....but she's a little....out there to say the least.

Thanks, I reverted back to XP on my laptops and everything is perfect now. I really hate computer problems too. Sorry you are having such a rough time with yours. That sucks that you have to install your printer every time you turn it on. Never heard that problem before. Hope you can get it worked out.

A Mii is a miniature version of yourself that you make to play games like Wii play. Wii Play is a game for the Wii. It has like 7 different little games on it that you can play. Ping Pong, Pool, it has a target game, some yps of puzzle games...you can view what the game is all about here
