Legend of the Lion King

Sorry, more questions from me. (Tried looking up previous posts using search).

Is the Legend of the Lion king ok for 2 1/2 year old. How long is the show? I read how you get your tickets in advance (read 12:00 show tends to be less busy - is that correct?), are these for specific seats or do you just sit where you like?. How long before the show does the venue tend to fill up? Can you take pushchairs in or do you have to leave them outside?

I am asking all this as my DS(2) isn't great at staying still/in the one place for that long unless something really captures his attention, so would like to be able to go along just a few mins. before the show starts. Definately want my DD(9) to be able to go to it along with her Dad, I would like to see it too (here's hoping DS behaves himself!).

You pick up your tickets for entry only. It's open seating, you may want to get there early, there are places to walk around and things to look at though to keep your little one occupied. We got there early and used it as a snack time and as long as we kept the food moving she was fine. We were in the third row from the front for the 2pm show. We took our 18 month old in and she loved it, the show is about half an hour and kept her entertained throughout. Pushchairs stay outside, there was a covered parking area.

We got there early first time and had front row seats which meant that my little one could stand and watch the stage.
Apart from a little scare from Scar (who later made a very big deal of apologising much to DD's delight) the show was loved by all.

You could always watch from food place (name escapes me?) and have lunch at the same time but for the 20-30 minutes the show is on I think you'll be fine

The show isnt that long and it captures your attention well to!! If you dont want to have to queue to get tickets though then you can just go and sit at the eating area and watch it from there. You are a bit further back but you still get a fantastic view of the stage. We just so happened to catch it when we were eating our lunch and it was on!!! RESULT!!!

I'd go with Minnie Much and suggest sitting at Videopolis for lunch.Then you can ply junior with snacks etc whilst show is on and even if DS does want to get up there will be space for him to run about without upsetting anyone.

Just arrive a bit early to get a seat near the front of the seating area.WE sat near the Lion Family which gives a good view.

Our DD did sit at the front when we went in September . She was 3 in October but she is a big Lion King fan.

Does anyone know if the original cast will be back?

I think that Rafiki is the only original one.

The new ones just are not quite as good. (still great though)

For the Original Singers they won't be back.. roger wright is now on the show in London...

The legend of the Lion king is performed in "Le café Hyperion". You can see the show from the restaurant area but if you want an unforgetable moment let me sugest to you to reserve your seat in the show area. You will be very near of the performers and the audio quality is better !
