just curious

was looking at the florida dmv website, here http://www.flhsmv.gov/dhsmv/newflres.html

which said

In the state of Florida, a motor vehicle is required by law to be registered within ten days of the owner either becoming employed, placing children in public school, or establishing residency. Registering your motor vehicle goes hand in hand with the titling process.

just want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row

You don't need to register your car in the state of Florida for the College Program, just like if you are going to an out-of-state college you don't need to register your car in that particular state. It's a non permanent employment...though once your program is up and you decided to go full- or part-time then yes you'd need to register in Florida.

Just keep in mind. If your car insurance is not in your name(it does happen) and your name is not on the insurance policy you need to have a paper stating that you are covered. Or Price Management wont let you park in the parking lot. HTH

You are a resident in the state where ever you pay taxes is what I heard. That that would most likely be your home state.
