Legal Question- PLEASE HELP

I had a tire one time get real low. We put air in it and it never happened again. There was no foul play or anything sinister involved. Just some weird fluke. :confused3

That's what you think...did you check the surveillance tapes?? ;):rolleyes1

More to the story. The place of employment is small. Think small store. And just the two of them working. Male has history of lying and creating drama. Company has been told so that if anything happens they cannot say they didn't know. The tape showed him kneeling down for over 2 minutes at the tire and he said he was checking the air pressure. Who carries a tire gauge randomly in their pocket? He told the boss the wrong pressure when questioned. And should he not have had permission to touch other person's car?

With the bolded info, yes, I would call the police and try to file something. He was obviously tampering with your car and, IMHO, he created a hazardous driving condition. Good luck with this guy. Watch your back cuz he sure sounds like a whackadoodle.

Did he quote you one tire pressure and the boss another? I'm confused? :confused3

Whackjob.
Stay away and watch your back.
Report everything so there is apaper trail a mile long.
Call the cops, explain the situation, the tampering and see what they think.

OP would know what the tire pressure was because DH filled the tire back up. If Mr. Slimy said that the pressure was 25 psi while, in fact it was actually 20 psi, it would almost prove that he didn't really check it with a pressure gauge - he was just letting the air out.

Not only who carries a pressure gauge around with them but who takes more than 2 minutes to check a tire's pressure?!

I don't think the discrepancy between the pressure reported by the coworker and the DH is really important. It's possible that one or the other simply did not remember something so inconsequential as the EXACT psi but just the fact that it was "low". And as for carrying around a pressure gauge, how do we know that he didn't notice the low tire when he drove past it when he went to park? How do we know he didn't go back to get his gauge? Lastly, I am not very good at using a tire gauge and it might take me 2 minutes to get a couple of good readings. However, it would take me a lot less that 2 minutes to just push the pin in and release the air from the tire.

If the time between husband driving and he checking the tire pressure was longer than the time between OP driving and this guy checking tire pressure, it very well could have been at a higher pressure.

Tire pressure increases from driving due to heat buildup in the tire. Higher tire temperature increases tire pressure. This is why you should check tire pressure when the tires are cold because the rating is based on a cold tire temperature.

I have a pressure gauge in each car, thus I would always have a pressure gauge close by.

Exactly what I was coming on here to post. I've had tires look low sitting and when I drove they were fine. Tires may also get flat spots from sitting for a bit. Psi changes so much that the two readings mean absolutely nothing sinister.
