Has anyone stayed at Legacy Vacation club before. I have a rate of $299 for a 2 bedroom for 7 days.

Tripadvisor has some good and some bad reviews.

Yes I have stayed there many times. My dues and maintenance is $758.72 not including late fees and interest. If you paid $299 there must be some catch because the price is too low if you are staying in the Spas section even in the cheaper section the price is too low. There has to be other fees and taxes and charges associated with that. I own there for about 20 years now. Neil.

Good place. The $299 is probably with a timeshare tour. However, if you use places like Homeaway you should be able to find a price there in the $75 a night range.

I have stayed there as a getaway through Interval before for about $400/week. It is ok, nothing great but not bad. The pool area is a pretty big let down if you are into swimming but the room was nice. Personally I really like the location, close to Disney and Seaworld.

OP - did you need up staying here? I have also found this for $299 for 7 days on Sky Auction and it states there is no presentation to attend.

I'm looking at it on skyauction for $199. Anyone know if there are fees I'm not seeing?:confused3

Read all skyauction details completely. Saying that, I've used them many times. Never had to take a time share tour, or paid extra fees. I usually try to get the vacation certificates when available. Got two trips coming up in November. One at Orbit One for 2 weeks and the second Cypress Palms for 1 week.
Been to Legacy resort but wasn't fond of it. There are no balconies or porches. There are hardly any curb cuts for wheelchairs. No WiFi in room. It's been a couple years since I have been there but I enjoy other ones in the area better.

Legacy is the only one for this price. It comes out to $31 a night, including taxes and fees. I can't get a decent hotel for that.

One thing has me puzzled; the following is on the page...

Surcharges

Travel Surcharge (8/30/2013) for $150 per room
Holiday Surcharge (1/24/2014) for $175 per room

Does that mean you are only charged the $150 in you arrive on 8/30? Or is that for all of the dates?

Thanks for your help!:cool1:

I think the surcharge would apply to that check-in date but I am not positive. Email skyauction and ask. They are very prompt in their response.
