leg room?

Very high if you get there at the opening of twilight check-in, and tell them you are 100% fit, you should be able to have an exit seat.

Apparently though you have to pay £50 per person per way for emergency exit seats now.

There has been a lot of confusion over this recently on the boards, with some people being told one thing and others the complete opposite.

I suppose that if you go expecting to pay the supplement, you'll have a pleasant suprise if you don't get charged!

That's what Virgin confirmed to me when I called them a couple of weeks ago but who knows?! I'll find out on Friday!!

I'm afraid Twilight check in and exit seats doesn't really work now.

Now that the airport operate the twilight check in (and not Virgin staff) they cannot issue exit seats at this time.

If you request an exit seat your name will be put on a list, and the next day at the Virgin ticket desk (not check in) exits seats will be issued on a first come first served basis.

I thought it was rubbish too, in fact so rubbish I upgraded to PE just to guarantee the big seat (I am 6ft 4).

Hope this information helps,

Julian.
