Leftover ham

We never have left over ham. I love it, my wife will eat it but not her favorite food so she buys just enough ham for dinner and no leftovers.

She sounds like me! I like it for a meal and then I'm done.

We ended up with an impromptu date night since I forgot my daughter had an event with her friends. Italian - no ham!

Jambalaya. Ham is lovely in that; you can add chicken or shrimp as well if you like, as that's more traditional, but ham alone is fine, too.

Ham is at the bottom of my meat list - forced to eat it as a kid rarely eat it as an adult just not one of my favorites - leftover ham I would send with guest or pitch needless to say I purchase very small hams

If you have a bone, make bean and ham soup. You don't actually need a bone but it's so much better!

Sliced thin for sandwich. Cubed and mix in with the left over au gratin potatoes. I froze about 2/3 of it already.

I usually do:
Fried rice
Pizza
Pasta (a cream sauce with parmesan, ham and peas, yum)
Sammiches
Quesadillas with ham, cheese, onion, peppers (whatever is around really). Sauce of choice. A queso, sour cream, mayo based sauces go well

Ham sandwich for a couple days at work. Rest in the freezer for another time.

There usually isn't much left after being divvied out to everyone. I have enough for another sandwich tomorrow for lunch since I have something else today.

What's everyone doing with their leftover ham?

I'm trying to decide since we have half left over. We are out of eggs amd potatoes so that rules out a few things for tonight.

I need some inspiration. Nothing sounds good from my googling.

I pavk up my leftovers and send them home with the kiddos. I always make extra so they can enjoy the feast for one more day!
