Leftover Fast Pass question

We were given 3 extra fast passes per person for our next trip due to an issue we experienced on our last trip (pre-Covid). The passes aren’t in our account yet - we were given a code to give to guest relations on our next visit to have the passes loaded. I am assuming since Fast Pass isn’t currently available, we won’t be able to use these for anything on our upcoming trip but wondering if anyone knows for sure? Thanks!

Can’t hurt to ask. They are using the FP lane for various reasons (VIP, ride breakdowns) and I have heard of some people saying some random FPs have showed up in their MDE. The only explanation seems to be it was pixie dust (or a glitch!). They may still honor them if they were meant to be the guest experience passes you could use on any ride.

That is my take as well. I would go to guest relations and ask about it - fully expecting them to say they cannot activate them.

If they can, great. Bonus you were not counting on!

If not, you are probably out 10 minutes of your time for trying.

Go to guest services. It doesn’t hurt to ask!

Give it a try! They are definitely still giving out "recovery" fast passes. My son and I got some when we had to be evacuated off EE in AK back in January.

Agree with asking at Guest Services. I suspect they can't do anything with them, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I would guess they will be able to add them. We had an issue in AK on our last trip in the afternoon. We were given recovery fastpasses to use but did not need them in AK, and the CM changed the date of use. We were able to use them the next day at DHS.

We got some Fastpasses in August for rides breaking down and CMs pixie dusting people. I’d definitely check. One thing you will want to check, unlike most Fastpasses I’ve gotten in the past, some of the ones in August specifically excluded headlining attractions like FOP and 7 dwarves. So you may want to check for exclusions before cashing them in.

Yes, go to guest services. We had this for our trip as well. We had two extras with a code to activate them at guest services (given to us pre-covid), but we used them in Jan of this year. It was more beneficial to have them now more than ever, so go ask nicely, and they still might add them now (they did for us). The only problem was that I was told that which ever park you are in at guest services is the only park they can assign them in, so if I wanted my two split between two parks, I had to stop at two different guest services. I decided not to push my luck and just took two bonus FP in the park I was in (EP). But I mention that to you in case you already have ones in mind you want to use it on. If I knew this ahead of time, I would have changed my park that I went to guest services, I was in EP, so I picked Frozen and Test Track, but if I knew about the park limit ahead of time, I would have stopped at guest services in HS instead. And they needed the code and checked it many times.

We had the same thing happen to us. In December 2019 our last ride of the trip was Pirates and it broke down. Everyone was given 3 fast passes but since we were leaving, they gave us a code and said our account will show these can be used on our next visit. We visited last August and went to guest services to see if they will remain in our account if we do not use them, since the parks were empty and not needed. They said they will remain there until we stop back by and want to use them on any future dates. We could have used them, maybe saved 10 minutes on Splash Mountain, but I am hoping fast passes start up again and we can use them over our next trip, late December this year.
