Lefous Brew--Snack credit question

Obviously you can't get Lefous Brew w/the mug for a snack credit but are you able to use a snack credit on the beverage and then upgrade and pay the difference to get the cool stein?

I read somewhere it was sold in the gift shop but wondering if, since we want to try Lefous Brew anyway, the upgrade thing was possible instead.

No, there is no "pay the difference" when using credits.

You cannot use a credit for the beverage and pay cash for the difference (i.e. the stein). This has been asked about the souvenir popcorn containers as well.
