LED Christmas Lights--any upcoming sales?

We use a lot of Christmas lights and would like to eventually replace all of our older light strands with LED lights. They are expensive, though. Does anyone know of any upcoming specials on LED lights before or during Thanksgiving weekend?

Home Depot is giving you $3 when you bring in an old set of lights, working or not, towards the LED.

Thanks! The weather is supposed to be mild this weekend so we're hoping to put up the outside lights while the weather is cooperating. I'll call our local Home Depot and will see if they are participating in the $3.00 discount for turning in old strands of lights. The online sale sounds good, but I'd like to have the new lights too soon to order them online.

On Sat. Kmart is having 50% off their Trim-A-Home light sets.

The home Depot deal ended Sunday- the 15th. They had a recycle your old lights for new lights and you got a $3.00 off coupon. We recycled 60 old boxes of lights that were either broken, old or purchased at 90% off. We then got 12 coupons (5 per person per set- 12 x 5 =60)

We used the coupons to purchase 4 boxes of HD brand C3 multi colored and c3 white, 4 boxes of blue white c9 icicle and one more set of four.

We got rid of a bunch of lights and consolidated all these LED into one box.

I got all mine at target AFTER christmas last year for 1.50 a box!

Around here, the LED are all sold out BEFORE Christmas-- never mind after Christmas. That is a great deal!

I printed off the coupons (thanks for the link!) and then saw Walmart's BF ad (posted on another thread) where their LEDs will be $5 on BF. Anyone know if the coupons will work there??? That would make it $2/box!

Not sure if you have one by you but the Christmas Tree Shops had them pretty cheap

Target will be having a 200 light LED roll for $20 on Black Friday that I plan on picking up. Home Depot has the same thing in their BF add for $37, regularly over $40. So for 200 lights the Target deal makes them 10 cents per light. Good deal!
