We are staying at BCV and the kiddos will be at the Sandcastle club for a few hours;) :goodvibes .

Which would you suggest, taking food and ambiance into account, for a couple looking for a little romantic time alone?

If you have a different suggestion in the Epcot area- bring it on!!

I have never eaten at the Yachtsman but I have heard GREAT things about it. I have eaten at Le Cellier and the food is excellent but the atmosphere isn't that spectacular. From friends and family who have eaten at the Yatchtsman I would choose that if I were having a date night.

We loved everything at the Yachtsman. If you are looking for steak in our opinion the Yachtsman is the best

My vote would be for the Yachtsman Steakhouse. That is one of our favorite restaurants down in WDW. I would highly recommend it. The food is excellent and the ambiance is wonderful. They have tables along the window which are really nice as well. Afterwards, you can take a stroll along the boardwalk or on the beach. Have a wonderful time where ever you choose to go. pixiedust:

le cellier is def not for a romantic "date", imho. nice restaurant, but very noisy with lots of kids.
my vote is for the yachhtsman (btw, we did coral reef for our 25th anniv. i set up the diver & menu, & we sat right by the tank where there were less kids (except for the 2 who were crawling on the tank ledge :sad2:) we love the food there, so especially enjoyed it).

also, look into the swan/dolphin restaurants. shulas has great reviews (many prefer it to any WDW restaurant), & we've found those resort restaurants much quieter & less crowded.
hth:)

Well this may not help but here goes. Our DD and DSiL are doing LeCellier on their date nite in April while the Grams have the DGS. They are in search of a great steak dinner and know that is what they'll get. Just outside of Epcot at the Boardwalk is Flying Fish and that would get our vote for an awesome date nite. In fact, that is where Grandma and Grandpa are headed in April for our date nite away from "the kids."

We've done both. While LeCellier is a good restaurant, its not in the same league with YSH. You'll find a quieter, more romantic atmosphere at YSH, especially later in the evening.

At LeCellier the tables are so close together romance is impossible.

While Yachtsman is a great choice if you really want ambiance, consider Bistro de Paris its very exclusive and private plus, you can request a window seat, have a relaxing dinner and have an awesome view of illuminations to top the evening off.
Have Fun!
