We've been thinking about the restaurant that we want to go to for the Candlelight Processional package.

Which is a better choice for food quality, etc, LeCellier or Rose and Crown?

Thanks :)

We LOVED Le Cellier, it was yummy and our waiter was great with our kids. I've never eaten at the other place

It's hard to say, they are pretty different. We loved Rose and Crown. All 3 kids (2,5,7) loved the food and they can be a little picky! DH loved the very large beers you can get! The CM's are VERY friendly. On the other hand LeCellier is REALLY good too. Really yummy steaks. We ate at Rose and Crown in Dec 2003. I think the atmosphere was very festive for the holidays, but I don't think you could go wrong with either one!

We went to LeCellier for lunch, the air conditioning, the quiet, darker rooms were lovely, a real break from the heat and the noise and the crowds!! The 10oz steak was so very tender, the potatoes awesome, and I am a fan of roasted garlic, YUMMM! The pretzel breadsticks went great with the cheese soup - and DH loved the Moosehead beer!!

The Rose and Crown had good a/c and the large Bass Beer (or my dh's fav Black and Tan - bass and Guinness) The atmosphere here was more of a pub - and right in the middle of traffic, the windows let in all the light and atmosphere of the park...

so it really depends on what appeals to you!! We went to LeCellier for lunch and Rose and Crown for beer!! (and we listened to the British Invasion!! And saw Mary Poppins!! :) )

Le Cellier hands down is the best restaurant at Epcot, IMHO. It is a great atmosphere and great food, enjoy it!

Here's another vote for LECELLIER. It's got great food & atmosphere. We did this for the Candlelight Processional in 2002 and absolutely loved it. We already made PS for our upcoming trip in Oct.

I've been on the fence about switching our R 'n C PS to Le Cellier. I think this thread decided it!

Thanks!!

:)

Another vote for Le Cellier!

Have not tried Le Cellier (next trip!!) but we did not care for RnC at all. the fish and chips were good, but you can get those at the little window outside. The rest of it (Dh ordered roasted chicken with super soggy green beans) was just not good at all. I have heard much more positive feedback about Le Cellier in general which is why we are trying it next trip!
