DH and I will be using the Disney Dining Plan, and for one night will be eating without DD, DSIL, and sweet GD. We are debating between LeCellier or Les Chefs de France. ADR is now with Les Chefs, but was considering changing because of DH's gluten intolerance problem. It would seem like he might have more choices at LeCellier. Can anyone give me feed back on this?

well, I see your trip is less than 180 days so actually, you might be hard pressed to even get Le Cellier...but if you could get it, I would say go with that. Personally, I like trying everything once :)

We really enjoy both but Le Cellier is our favourite. Getting a reservation might be tough so definitely don't cancel Chefs until you have it.

We have done both and love Le Chefs!! You can't go wrong really. Have fun, either way.

Thanks for all the advice! I may try for LeCellier, but won't be concerned if we don't get it, glad to hear the good feedback for Les Chefs.

I also cannot help with the gluten sensitivity issue, but we do prefer Le Cellier over Chefs de France. While we do enjoy both of them, we give the edge to Le Cellier.

Our last trip in Jan. our dinner at Chefs wasn't as good as it usually is, but it wasn't horrible. But, our dinner and lunch that we had at Le Cellier was exceptional!

If you can't get into LeCellier and are worried about the gluten issue, you might give the restaurant a call the day before your ADR to let them know. Most Disney restaurants are very accommodating when it comes to dietary issues, and if there isn't anything currently on their menu that he could eat or that he could but doesn't like, I'm sure the chef would work with you to come up with something else.

i agree with the above poster - call both restaurants ahead to make them aware of the gluten intolerance - then you can find out which place would have more food options to chose from before deciding

I have recorded the gluten problem with all the ADR's and will clear with the chefs when we arrive. Thanks again for all of the good advice. I don't remember having to do all of this 17 years ago, but we didn't have this great free dining so we didn't have enough $$ for all these nice places!!
