Can anybody please tell me of any reliable parking facilities near the Philadelphia Airport...thanks

DH parks at Economy Parking at PHL airport. It is $8 per day.

Have parked our car there at least 8 times (for periods of 3 to 7 days) last year.

Just to clarify, the Economy parking lot is right near the airport. To get there, you drive to the airport, Departing flights. Drive past all the terminals (which will be on your right) and then after the last terminal, look for the Economy Parking sign and make a right. If you don't watch out, you'll be forced back onto 95!

I don't know if this is the best, but we've never had a problem. We park our own car and don't like to give anyone our keys.

the lot is usually full, so we drive around for a spot and sometimes follow the bus and wait behind someone getting their car. (kinda like King of Prussia mall at Christmas!)

I'm interested in seeing where other Philly DISers park!

We use Park N Go. It is located at a car dealer. We can even pay to have our oil changed, etc while we are away. We pull up to the office, they drive us to our terminal. Once we arrive home we call them and they are there in minutes to pick us up. We love it b/c the kids do not have to travel in a shuttle without car seats.

We drove down to Philadelphia from Binghamton,NY and spent the night at the Holiday Inn by the airport. We were told we could park there for 21 days with one night's stay at the hotel. It was a decent price ($70) for parking considering we were away for 10 days.

We always park off-site at Expresspark. I'm not sure the road it's on, though, but it's down the road from the UPS terminal (I guess that's what it is?). It's not far from the airport. I think we pay $6 a day.

We have used Colonial Parking and it is $6 a day. Check them out @ colonialparking.com

We use avistar parking. They are GREAT and have valet service to/from the terminal. You drive your car into a covered area and your luggage is unloaded right onto the van. You are driven to the airline of your choice and dropped right off at curbside check-in. Upon returning, you are picked up ( promptly, I've seen people waiting over 20 minutes for the Economy lot's shuttle) and brought back directly to your warmed (or cooled if summer) car. It is truly very convient and easier than parking on site.

We just used Pacifico last week. They had a valet drive us to the airport and they kept our car, washed it, oil change etc...We were very happy with them. The cost for 10 days was $72.00.

I have parked at Kinney and some of the other parking places off of Essington Ave with no problem. I would be somewhat warry of parking in the economy lots at the actual airport. Any time I have flown I have seen tons of people waiting for the bus and then once the bus gets there it would be full and they would have to wait for the next. You also have to deal with your own luggage. It seems like a struggle for not that much price difference.

I live 7 min. from the airport and they are all good choices but the closest one is the one on 291 & Bartram Avenue I believe it is almost right next door to the airport. Seeing the signs driving in the area all the time the prices do range from 7.95 and up. I do believe most of them have a shuttle to the airport. Good luck

and we always park at the Economy/long-term parking lot at the airport. DH pulls the car up to curbside check-in------We check in the bags, get our boarding passes, dh goes to park the car, i wait right inside curbside check-in (there's a bunch of chairs), 20 minutes later he arrives and we head up to security. We've never had a problem. Good Luck!

I pulled into the economy parking lot one time and pulled right out...fence half down, really dark...waiting for a bus, with no one around! Not my idea of safe and certainly wasn't leaving my car there. I usually use SunPark which is right off the exit from 95. I think it is a bit more expensive but certainly worth it. I've also used Pacifico at the auto mall...now a bit further away but nice to come home to a clean car w/ the oil changed! And when I had a convertible you could pay extra to have it housed inside which was nice! I wouldn't use the airport parking...its scary!

We've used Pacifico and have always been happy. We just drop the driver back off and head for home. Much more convenient for us than Rapid Rover which is what we used to use. We're up in Burlington County and would always be their last stop.

We usually stay at a hotel the night before that will let you leave your car. We've paid between $60 -$80 for the hotel room ...pretty much equals out to what you'd pay for parking.......besides then we don't have to worry about fighting traffic and we can take an early morning flight and have pretty much the whole day at WDW.

Could not agree more!!!

We have used Avistar on each of our trips and have never been disappointed. We were "TRAPPED" at Disney in Feb '03 by the big snow that shut the Northeast down. When we finally got home to mounds of snow, Avistar had the car running, warm, & snow free. Can't ask for much more than that.

We were in Disney last Feb too, and also were trapped!!! It was amazing how much a mess the parking lots were, and our car was dug out and warm when we arrived. I even watched them dig another car out while DH was inside paying. They really work hard there!!!

we use EXPRESSPARK (1-800-930-7275 ) ITS ON Tinicum Island road on south end of airport. You park your car and their Van follows you and picks you and your luggage up right where you park. ( not like economy parking, you have to get to a bus stop and hope you can fit on the bus) Then they drop you at curbside of your airline. Same coming home when you get to PHL you call the number and they pick you up and take you right to your car. Great when it's raining.

We used economy years ago and never again.
