Yahoo! We are leaving tonight! I've been awake since 4:00am....I'm so excited I can't sleep!

Can anyone tell me where the Disney Outlet is located? We will have a 1/2 day to kill tomorrow before we go to the parks, so I thought that we might go to the Outlet and check it out.

Also....Guest of Honor badges.....where can you pick them up at? Can anyone get them? Are they only 'off the rack' names or do they have an engraver there?

I am SO happy for you!! I've been up since 4am too--guess I was so excited for you I wanted to share!! I have been in search of those GOH badges myself. I have been told by fellow DISers that you can get them at the Christmas store in DTD. There are ones off the rack (common names) or you can have one made (with the engraving being FREE!!!!) They said it takes less than 5 minutes for them to make you one. I've also been told here that they are about $5 each--which is a FABULOUS price!!! Anyone with 5 bucks can get one!

I don't know anything about the outlet stores. I would love to go, but won't have any transportation (other than Disney transportation) while there as I'm staying on-grounds! We leave next Tuesday and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

i got our guest of honor badges at MGM. there are blank ones that can be engraved. also there is a place at downtown disney. not sure about the other parks. can't help w/the outlet. have a great trip!

As to the Disney Outlet I assume you mean the Belz Factory Outlet Mall. Here are the directions:
"Belz Factory Outlet Mall
(Disney Outlet Store Named "Character Premiere" in Belz Mall I)
(Disney Outlet Store Named "Character Warehouse" in Belz Mall II)

From I-4 (Interstate 4) follow to exit 75A. At the top of the exit ramp you will come to a traffic light, (UNIVERSAL BLVD) turn RIGHT. Follow one block to another traffic light, ( INTERNATIONAL BLVD) turn LEFT. Follow for approximately 2 miles. You will see a Belz Outlet Mall on the left. Drive past it. A ¼ of a mile past the first set of outlets you will see another Belz Outlet Mall (Belz Mall I). Go to entrance number 3, store 47.

Follow same directions as above to get to Belz Mall II except go straight at the stop sign. Turn into the first driveway on your left. Turn right just as you reach Belz Mall II and park near the entrance on that side. Character Warehouse will be inside just off to the left of the food court, store 109-110."

Go to the TTC at Mk and catch the Lynx bus $1.25. Transfer near Sea World( the bus driver will tell you where to change buses), go along International Drive. The bus will take you to Beltz. Transfers are free. At the ttc information kiosk you can pick up schedules and route maps. Or, if you want to check out the Lynx site on line that's another option. there are 2 buses an hour. Also, there are buses going along 192 to Publix, /walgreens, Old Town, Walmart and Osceola Mall, but that is another route.
