I'm a bit concerned that my DD has been around two cousins this week who are now sick. Are there any walk-in places around WDW that I would be able to use, if necessary? Hopefully I never HAVE to use them, but I want to be prepared for worst case scenarios.

With it being flu season too, it's good to have this information on hand.

There is one about 10 minutes from the main gate. It is across the street from Buena Vista Suites. We did OK there. The CVS next door does NOT have a pharmacy though...

YOu might want to consider calling your own Dr. ahead and seeing if they would be willing to call something in long distance, should it be necessary. That might save you time and new germs.

Try to locate a few "minute clinics" at local pharmacy's before you go. Some of the CVS stores close to WDW do not have pharmacy's inside.
On a recent trip my friend's wife got the flu. The three clinics that WDW recommended them to must be where WDW recommends eveyone to when they are sick. My friend said that the wait was over 4 hours at each place. They just happened to stop by a Walgreens with a minute clinic inside. The nurse practitioner inside saw his wife right away and wrote her a prescription. They we able to treat her illness quickly and still had a great time on the vacation.

If you are staying on property disney will transporte you to a centra care walk in clinic and when you are done clinic calls disney and a car will pick you up and take you to wallgreens to get your script and back to your resort. Had a little one with allergic reation to med started before we left home and went to 1st aid at studios and was sent from there if your at resort contact your front desk
