Leaving Tomorrow Morning!!! Crowd Level??

Well, we're off - me, hubby, and 2 friends for 5 days at DVC Boardwalk . Do you think X-mas/New Year's crowd will be leaving, and it will be low attendance??

I have never been there at that time, but am thinking of switching our vacation to that same time after the big holiday next year (2006). So I want to know too! Is that the least crowded time in January...after the New year, like around the 4-11th? I do know that I have heard January is a pretty slow month compared to other months. In my opinion we should be fine, but would love feedback too.

Ha Ha Sunkissed!! I don't think I want to do that......Heard it's in the high 70's - sure beats Boston area next week - cold, rain, sleet - Oh well, we can deal with any crowds - after all we went 2 days after Christmas 2002 for 6 days - now you talk about crowds!!! Never again!!

I was at Disney this time last year and found it to be very crowded (they closed MK fairly early in the morning on New Year's Eve Day due to the numbers!) We left to fly home on January 3rd. My college roommate went a few days later and told me that getting on the rides was a breeze, and she and her family had no lines to contend with! Regardless of what you encounter, I hope you have a wonderful time!

My son and I are going to the park on Monday (see my timer ) and we're also hoping that the majority of people have left to go home. I'll post the results.

We'll be there for about half the day tomorrow, but we don't take up much space

We went last year Jan 2nd, since it was a week-end we still had the crowds, but on Monday it thinned out alot. So yes, by monday it should be pretty slow. We'll be there the 5th-11th YEA!!! Only 4 more days!!
