I'm a bundle of nerves and excitement. Does anyone else get this way the night before you leave for Disney?

Yes, I understand about being "too excited to sleep!"

But, Yay  for you that you get to leave soon!

Have a great trip!:)

I found the best way to get over this is go more often, like 3+ times a year. Try it some time, good therapy.

Have an awesome trip!!!! I am the same way I can never sleep the night before a big trip to see Mickey.:thumbsup2

I am the same way! We are driving for the first time instead of flying and plan to leave at 1 or 2 a.m. Saturday!! I am sure I won't sleep any before we leave because I will be too excited.

Less that 24 hours and I will be on my way to my HAPPY PLACE :cool1:

I'm the very same way. I get like a kid on Christmas Eve--too excited to sleep. I think the anticipation is part of the fun. Enjoy your trip.

we're leaving after the kids get out of school for a straight 17 hour drive and I didn't sleep worth crap last night...I work thirds so I should be able to make it maybe just a little help from dw..

I'm that way but only because of the travel part not necessarly Disney.
I worry of oversleeping and missing the plane, worried we have all ids/boarding passes/medications/etc.

When we stayed off-site and went 1 day to Disney I had no problems sleeping the night before.

I can NEVER sleep the night before something really exciting been that way since I was a kid...

We would go to Disneyland several times a year (lived in OC for pete's sake) and I could never sleep the night before...

I cannot sleep the night before Christmas even as an adult (even when we agreed not to buy adult presents to save for Disney)

I love your theory, I am going to have to try this out myself...just hope it doesn't cure me :goodvibes

To the OP, we leave in 3 days :cool1: and for a week now, I haven't been able to sleep. It seems like this last week is taking FOREVER!!!!!!

I never sleep more than a few hours the night before a trip to WDW. I'll go to sleep at my normal time, but then wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning and be unable to get back to sleep.

Well, I made it through the night.... got a couple hours of shut-eye. We head out today. :yay: :cool1:  I'll report back on our trip when we return. Have a great week everyone!!!

We are both that way. We couldn't sleep the night before our flight from Atlanta on our last trip. I'm going to try working out at the airport hotel Thursday night before our flight Friday morning and see if that helps.

We live in Little Rock but fly out of Memphis. We always drive to Memphis the night before near the airport. So we hear the airplanes all night and this just adds to the anticipation.

Once I get within 7 days I start to lose sleep from the excitement and planning anyway.:thumbsup2

THE NIGHT BEFORE....thats it one night , I have 4 weeks to go and I can't sleep...I keep thinking in 5 weeks from now I'll be eating dole whip and waiting on line for jc. Thank god for tylenol PM.
