Leaving tomorrow! Any last minute tips?

We leave tomorrow morning for our weekend at Universal (not onsite, unfortunately). We've never been there before, but we are so excited!

Any last minute advice? We have the $99 unlimited passes that we bought through AAA, and have Friday afternoon - Sunday afternoon to see as much as we can.

Make sure to get there early and drink plenty of water during the day. It's going to be a HOT weekend again and the thunderstorms are out there.

If you have a camera, or a camera phone, take pictures of your passes in case anything happens to them. Make sure the numbers are legible. Also, if you take a picture of the row you are parked in (they are on the columns) it may come in handy later on when you are trying to remember where you parked so many hours ago.

Get there early and start at the back of the park in US. We started with Simpsons and MIB and there were very short lines. Also, single rider lines are great if you can do them. It enabled us to ride MIB about 40 times this trip, LOL. CS places will give you free ice water; just ask.

I second that! Wish I had read them before I went. I read them at the hotel on our second night and my score went from 21,000 to 500,000! Never did get that elusive 999,999, but my son got 730,000 once.

my tip: don't miss out on E.T. the ride. It's my favorite there and have gone on that ride every trip since 1992 (i was 10). they got rid of a lot of the old classics (kongfrontation, back to the future) and this one is left!

secondly, by the express passes. worth every cent.

lastly, spend some time at citywalk - it's fun and there are lots of cool places to eat.

If you start to get tired, stop and have a cool drink somewhere. You don't have to see it all.

If anyone wears glasses, make sure that they don't fly off on the Mummy. Our son lost a pair that way.

Hit Hulk, Spiderman and the Simpsons early. Use single rider lines.

I went yesterday and it was packed so make sure you get there very early!!! I am going again tomorrow so I can get to the things I missed. I was hoping to see the fireworks but a huge thunderstorm came through and it was canceled. Definitely invest in the unlimited refill cup its only .79 for refills I think the cup was 7.99 but not positive trust me its been so hot its worth it. Have a great time.
