I've been reading the stickies on this site and have read that the DME counter can get very busy at MCO. Do we really need to actually check in at the counter or can we just hop on the bus to BC?

Normally you must chek in at the counter but during some busy times, a CM may intercept you in advance and, if your paperwork meets certain requirements (notably no checked bags left behind for automagical room delivery and also missing yellow tags), send you to the bus line bypassing the counter.

We used ME last week and as long as you have your book in-hand there will be somebody at a podium that will direct you to the appropriate queue for the bus to your resort - no actual "checking in" at the counter. They have hand-held scanners to do that if you're all set. We did have checked bags and all they wanted to know was how many and if we had put the ME tags on them (we had), that was it.

Thanks all. That info helped alot.

And now it's off to the mall for one last Christmas gift that needs to be bought and wrapped before we leave! Coming home on Christmas Eve and hosting family for Christmas dinner so organization is everything at this point!
