leaving the oven on

I have to head out to work and I have pork in the oven (I was inspired by the pulled pork thread weeks back)

I thought it would be done by now, but it's not even close! Can I leave the oven on while I leave? I have a gas oven, I live in an apartment... is it safe? It's on 320.

I will be back in an hour for only an hour (hopefully it will be done) but then I am leaving for another hour.

I never leave my oven on when I leave the house, heck I won't even leave the dryer running.

I would leave it on if I was going to be back in an hour...I do a load of wash int he morning before work, load it into the dryer and set that to run and put another load in the washer at the same time and go to work...been doing that for years, never had a problem...
