My family is flying from BTR to MCO on Dec. 14th. My sister is joining us on Dec. 15th and leaving on the 18th (we are leaving on the 20th). She is not on the reservation BUT will be added when she gets to POP (by advice of travel agent b/c she will not be there the entire stay). I called Mears today to see what kind of transportation I could get for her to POP since she was not on a reservation and they just told me to have her go to the MExpress podium and they would transport her to POP. The only difference would be that she had to carry her luggage b/c it will not have magic express tags. Has anyone ever done this? Heard of anyone doing this? I just don't want my sister stranded in the airport and having to pay big $$$ to get to POP. :earseek:

Any advice appreciated!!! :wave2:

Thanks!!!

ME will not transport her.

Under the new agreement with the airport the passenger MUST have a reservation. Since you can only have a reservation if you are on the room....... you see the problem.

Call Mears and see if they are selling tickets???? I don't know if they still sell transport to WDW anymore?

There have been reports that if folks bought a Mears ticket to WDW they got on an ME bus, but I have no idea how that is working after the airport "crackdown"???

I just can't believe that this MEARS agent would tell me this. Her name was Phyllis. I kept asking her: Are you sure? I don't want to leave my sister stranded. She was rushing me off the phone, but she kept saying. Yes...just tell her to go to the podium and tell them she will be added to the ressie and they will transport her to POP. Sounds like she needs some training. I'm just not sure what other options my sister has except to rent a towncar, but that's just a load of money for one person...Any suggestions anyone???

Thanks for your response.
