Leaving Sat, Need help asap w/new hotel, HOJO messed up our reservation!!

I'm very sorry my staff has let you down! You are correct that the King rooms in Building #1 do not face Disneyland. We do have King rooms in Building #2 that are nice and quiet. We take our Guest Service very seriously, and understand how special Disney vacations are. Please let me know if I can be of help with your reservations. I'll do everything I can to help you out with this mess.

All that flying pixie dust and well wishes worked! If you can believe it, the Toyota dealership covered the work under our extended warranty due to a malfunction in the wiper motor. WOW! They gave me a loaner car for free so that I could get back up the mountain, pack & bring my family back down (got home late last night). My son turned out to have an allergic reaction to someone's cat he played with while I was gone ... NOT pink eye!

WE LEAVE IN TWO HOURS!! WOO HOOOO! Thank you so much for all of your replies, they worked! The only thing still up in the air is where we are staying, but that will get worked out along the drive.

I agree with DangerMouse...the customer service at HoJos is, and has always been for us, fantastic and I was really surprised to hear about what had happened. But, true to their belief in customer service, they are serious about making amends.

HoJo's has been our hotel of choice for the past five years. Every year Willie Simpson has gone out of his way to fullfill our room requests...he answers his email so fast that there's smoke coming out of my computer, and even though I've never met him, I feel as if I know him. The hotel grounds are gorgeous, the Gift Shop is so well-stocked, the Arcade is a blast for my son (he hits it on the way to the Parks and on our return), and the staff has always been helpful. I'm so sorry about your experience, and I do hope that it won't completely cloud your judgement...give them another chance next time you go!

LOL! ita. If my sister weren't staying with us, we would have just reserved another room immediately. In fact, we are going to stop by and take a look around for when we go to DL next time. I am convninced that if my life hadn't been so hectic this week (resulting in my lack of a phone call to the mgr) they would have taken care of us right away :-)

BTW - is there a way to change the title of this thread? Something like "Trip almost cancelled, we are finally on our way!".

Sure, just go to your first post in the thread, click on "Edit", then when the edit box comes up click on "Go Advanced", and you'll be able to change your title for this thread.:thumbsup2
