Leaving Sat for HH

Ok we are ready to go...so excited. THere is five of us staying in a two bedroom....I think I have everything ready...well, on a list that is. Any one have any ideas or suggestions of must haves. Three kids under 11 are with us. Cannot wait to go and see the sun.

take your bikes, scooters, and other toys for the kids. Plenty of play space. If you are flying in forget this post. Have a great time, hh is a great place. We are leaving in 3 weeks for bw/vb can't wait.

I'd bring hooded sweatshirts for the campfire at night. It should still be chilly this time of year. I'd also pack less clothes and bring more detergent. Have a great time. Let us know how the renovations to the beach house worked out.

There are so many things to do there it's amazing! You can get a family rate for bike rentals which is pretty reasonable. A big highlight for us was the dolphin cruise. We enjoyed crabbing & fishing from the pier and my kids attended lots of the scheduled activities. We also brought kites which we flew at the beach. We brought binoculars and a bird book for checking out some of the neat birds in the marsh. Loved sitting on my rocker on the porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while everyone was doing their own thing! Can't wait to go back this summer!

Take a nightlight with you. There is not one in the bathroom, and it is very dark there after you go to bed. It's also not a straight shot so you need some guiding lights.

Since there will be three kid, I might pass on my suggestion to visit my "How To Jacuzzi 101" article on my website, but if you are not familiar with them, then it might pay.

If you don't want to take your golf clubs, there are several places to rent them too.

Light jackets are also useful if you go on any of the dolphin cruises. Money, if you go to the outlet stores, which includes a Disney Outlet.

Night lights and hooded sweatshirts...Thanks. They were not on my packing list.

I'll let you all know about the beach house.

And Tom...I have already read your Jacuzzi 101 - when all the kids are sleeping..I'll have to try it out! (Hopefully I'll still be awake!!)
