Leaving on a jet plane don't know when I'll be back again

Leaving tomorrow for my 1st dvc trip! It is going to be weird not staying in the cabins at Ft. Wilderness! We are staying at OKW 2 bedroom and there are only 3 of us! Celebrating my best friends 50th birthday and bringing my college roommate and celebrating our reunion since we went to wdw when we graduated college 25 years ago!!!! Strange going without DD's and DH also but I will manage! So much to do still need to pack. Ordered OL this week since I am going back for DH birthday in December then with whole family in Feb. Gotta love all those 2009 incentive points for joining!

Are you in for a treat! We stayed two nights in a FW Cabin and also in a 2 BR at OKW in the same trip. OKW-2 bathrooms, 2 TVs, washer and dryer, and sooo much larger. Is OKW your home resort, or just what was available? I suspect you're gonna love it there.

So much fun!!! I was at SSR for my 1st trip home/bachelorette weekend with my sister and some friends back in March and the change of pace from being with the DH and kiddos was SO fun!!

Please be sure to hang by the pool....I found it outstanding to hear the chatter of kids at the pool and not have to watch ANY of them!!

As you can tell I am new to dvc and had no idea how big the rooms were so just figured we all wanted our own bed. We also had hopes of 1 more traveling with us but she couldn't get work off. OKW is not my home resort lower points for 2 bedroom made up my mind to try it, and have read all the great reviews!
I am looking forward to the balcony and a large glass of wine every evening!

We are leaving in 4 hours on a jet plane. We're being different and heading west to the GCV for the first time! Wooo! Back to the world in September at OKW. Hope everyone has great trips!!

We'll be leaving on a jet plane tomorrow as well! We're heading to the BCV for our son's college graduation trip. There will be 8 of us, 4 college aged and 4 of us old farts! We have 2 two bedroom villas and I can't wait. I'm all packed and don't think I'll be sleeping much tonight. Here's hoping we all have good weather.
