Leaving MK DURING fireworks

We have ADR at Be Our Guest at 9:05pm one night of our upcoming trip. What are the chances we'll actually be able to walk from the back of the park from BOG to the front entrance to catch the bus DURING the fireworks show? We will have already seen the fireworks and were hoping to catch the bus before everyone else. Any tips?? Thanks!

Sorry don't have any tips cause we tried doing that one year.... We came outside right as they were starting and we just got caught up watching them from right outside the restaurant. It was so cool to see it behind beasts castle and hardly anyone was over there. It was like Disney put on a show just for us.

Might be hard to turn your back on the fireworks.

It's madhouse. Honestly I'd jump on some rides and leave 20-30 minutes after the fireworks.

We left during the parade one evening and the crowds were so dense they opened the pathway behind the Main Street stores to let people leave. If you are looking up Main Street towards the entrance to the park, the path is on your right. It's starts just behind The Plaza. Not sure if it will be open for you, but if you must leave then I'd look for it.

The path was not open on a sold out MNSSHP night 2 weeks ago, we asked a CM nearby because we wanted to leave early and Main St was packed - we were using scooters and knew there was no way we would get thru the crowd, the CM told us that it had not been open at night for a few weeks. I guess the place has to be very, very busy to have it opened. Maybe Robo will chime in and be able to say when the backstage path is opened?

What time are the fireworks? If they are at 10, would you even be done eating in time to be leaving during the show? If your meal is at 9:05, you would have to be seated exactly on time and eat in a hurry, I would think.
